Well, it seems that MissingIntellect.Net is cursed. I actually go to make a post, and my site is down. Seemingly right after I finally bring it back online, the server it’s on goes down. It’s been weeks now, and there’s no sign of that server coming back up. Still, I refuse to let this site die. I got a hosting account with the great people over at Eggplant Farms. (I know one of the people there, and if you’re looking for some good, incredibly inexpensive hosting, I suggest you take a look at them.) Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the database, so unless the old server comes back online, the posts I made are gone. Ironically, not having much content may actually be in my favor, since I haven’t lost a lot. I only lost two posts and the about page, and that was it. Despite the setbacks, I still haven’t given up on MissingIntellect.Net. It’s gonna take a lot more than this to make me give up.
Dude! All of these years I kept visiting MI and there was never anything more than a graphic and perhaps a little bit of static text. Thus I stopped visiting. Now you’re actually blogging and you didn’t tell me! Guess I’ll have to visit a bit more often.
